Former Pampanga Board Member files COC as mayor of CSF

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga– Former Board Member Mylyn Pineda-Cayabyab officially filed her certificate of candidacy (COC) as mayor of this city at the local office of the Commission on Election on Monday (Oct. 7).

Pineda-Cayabyab is running as mayor of this city under the banner of Kambilan Party with an acronym for “Kapanalig at Kambilan ding Mamalen Pampanga”, a local political party and haven of political leaders in Pampanga who are one in character, courage and mission of safeguarding the Kapampangans against the occurence of poverty, illness, illiteracy, calamities, among other situation that may threaten the well-being of the people.

It is also designed to uplift the standard of living of the Kapampangans through active community participation in decision making process or people empowerment.

Twelve years ago then Pampanga Governor Lilia G. Pineda relaunhed
the Kambilan Party to consolidate its political strength and unify its efforts to fight poverty and bring progress for the development of the province.

Prior to the filing of her COC, Pineda-Cayabyab attended mass at the Metropolitan Cathedral accompanied by her father businessman Rodolfo “Bong” Pineda, brother Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, sister Lubao Mayor Esmie Pineda. (UnliNews Online)
