PORAC, Pampanga — Four drug suspects were collared inside a makeshift drug den following a buy-bust operation in Barangay Sta. Cruz, Porac town on Sunday afternoon (Oct. 6).
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) team leader identified the arrested suspects as Jerome Liwanag y Macaspac, 41 years old, resident of Ponciano St; Francis Liwanag y Macaspac, 50, resident of Ponciano St., Fatima Village Brgy. Sta Cruz; Ronaldo Mangulabnan y Flores, 29, Purok 3 Sto. Niño Village, Brooklyn. Sta Cruz; and Hermer Sarmiento y Santiago, 48, resident of Henson St. Fatima Village, Brgy. Sta. Cruz, all in Porac, Pampanga.
A total of 9 plastic sachets containing more or less 10 grams of shabu worth P68,000.00; assorted sniffing paraphernalia; and the marked money were recovered during the operation.
The operation was conducted by joint elements of PDEA Aurora and Pampanga Provincial Offices, Pampanga Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit.
Arrested suspects will be temporarily detained at the PDEA RO III Jail Facility in the City of San Fernando.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being readied for filing in court. (UnliNews Online)
