DTI Bulacan inks partnership in establishing OTOP Pasalubong kiosks

CITY OF MALOLOS — The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI Bulacan) launched six One Town, One Product (OTOP) Kiosks in Bulacan with private pasalubong shops as partners.

On September 26, 2024, three OTOP Pasalubong kiosks were instated at the TLM Yema Buko Pie and Pasalubong Center in the City of Malolos, Florabeth’s Food Products Manufacturing in Balagtas, and Rose Garcia Longganisa in Calumpit.

Meanwhile, one kiosk was unveiled last October 3 at the Mariel’s Pasalubong Shop in Calumpit, and another two kiosks at the Bulacan’s Prime Store in San Rafael, and Zeny’s Minasa in Bustos.

Ms. Leonila C. Magaling, owner of TLM Yema Buko Pie and Pasalubong Center said, “I am always grateful to DTI Bulacan sa laging pagsuporta sa aming mga nagnenegosyo. Simula pa lamang noon na ako ay nairehistro sa DTI, naimbita na sumali sa KMME (Kapatid Mentor ME), hanggang sa kasalukuyan, ang DTI ay laging nakaalalay sa amin para sa patuloy na pag-unlad ng aming mga negosyo.”

The One Town One Product (OTOP) Kiosks aim to link and network OTOP manufacturers to private pasalubong centers. This deems to add more channels of distribution to the manufacturers and consequently, mutually beneficial to both of the businesses involved.

For 2024, DTI Bulacan aims to establish 10 OTOP Pasalubong Kiosks in the different cities and towns. (UnliNews Online)
