CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — A 55-year-old U.S. citizen was arrested on Friday evening (Oct. 11) in Barangay Malabanias, Angeles City.
The suspect was arrested by operatives of Police Station 4, Angeles City Police Office (ACPO), based on an Alias Warrant of Arrest issued for Violation of Section 5 (1) of Republic Act 9262, also known as the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004, and was identified as Walter James Gaston.
The warrant, bearing Case No. SC-32848 was issued by Hon. Mary Jean Tibo Cajandab-Ong, Presiding Judge of Branch 26, Regional Trial Court, Fourth Judicial Region of Sta. Cruz, Laguna, on October 1, 2024. The court recommended a bail of P72,000.00 for the accused.
