P1.9M worth of illegal drugs seized in Bulacan in Christmas Eve operations

CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — In a day long operation on Christmas Eve conducted by the Bulacan police, a total of P1,904,000 worth of illegal drugs were seized, consisting of 8 small sachets and 3 sachets suspected shabu.

The operations, conducted on December 24-25, 2024, led to the arrest of 9 individuals, comprising 7 drug suspects, and two wanted persons, during intensified anti- criminality efforts.

According to the reports submitted to Col. Satur L. Ediong, Bulacan provincial director, a total of four sachets of suspected shabu, with an estimated Standard Drug Price of P1,870,000, along with buy-bust money, were seized during an anti-illegal drug operation conducted by the San Jose del Monte Police Station.

The operation led to the arrest of three drug suspects in Brgy. Graceville, CSJDM, Bulacan, at around 3 p.m. on December 24, 2024.

Similarly, separate buy-bust operations were conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Plaridel and Calumpit Police Station, four (4) drug suspects were arrested.

Confiscated during the operation were a total of seven (7) heat sealed plastic sachets of suspected shabu with a standard drug price (SDP) of P34,000, and buy-bust money.

The arrested suspects and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination.

While criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspect is now being prepared for filing in court.

Meanwhile, separate manhunt operations conducted by tracker teams from San Jose del Monte, resulted in the arrest of two wanted individuals by virtue of Warrants of Arrest.

The arrested accused are presently under the custody of the arresting unit/station for proper disposition.

Despite the joyous spirit of Christmas, the Bulacan Police Provincial Office, under the leadership of Col. Ediong, remained vigilant in its duty to safeguard the community.

Through intensified operations, the Bulacan Police delivered a significant blow to criminal networks.
