PRO3 crushes drug syndicates: 914 arrested, P26M worth of drugs seized in January

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) is delivering a decisive blow to illegal drug networks in Central Luzon, with an aggressive and relentless anti-drug campaign that led to 619 successful operations in January 2025 alone.

These operations resulted in the arrest of 914 drug offenders and the confiscation of illegal substances worth over P26 million, further solidifying PRO3’s commitment to eradicating the drug menace.

Among the seized contraband were 3,764.19 grams of shabu, 4,952.10 grams of marijuana, and 26.24 grams of kush, with a total estimated street value of P26,230,124.82.

Each arrest and drug bust represents a significant victory in the ongoing campaign against illegal drugs, sending a clear message to criminal syndicates that their operations will not be tolerated in the region.

Regional Director Gen. Jean S. Fajardo reaffirmed PRO3’s unwavering dedication to this fight, emphasizing that the region remains a hostile ground for drug traffickers.

“The relentless crackdown on illegal drugs in Central Luzon is more than just a law enforcement initiative—it is a battle for the safety, health, and future of our communities. Let it be clear: there is no place for drug traffickers here. PRO3 will continue to hunt down those who prey on our people, especially the youth, and bring them to justice. We will not back down, we will not slow down, and we will never allow our communities to be poisoned by the scourge of illegal drugs,” Fajardo declared.

As PRO3 continues to intensify its anti-drug efforts, it calls on the public to stand in unity with law enforcement, urging communities to remain vigilant and proactive in reporting suspicious activities. The success of these operations underscores the power of collaboration in keeping Central Luzon drug-free. (UnliNews Online)
