CAMP ALEJO SANTOS — In a series of relentless operations conducted by Bulacan police, a total of 16 individuals were arrested, consisting of 12 drug peddlers, and four wanted felons on Monday (Feb. 10).
Confiscated items included 29 plastic sachets of suspected shabu and 2 plastic sachets of dried marijuana leaves with an estimated drug price value of P592,692 along with buy-bust money.
According to reports submitted to Col. Satur L. Ediong, Bulacan provincial director, a total of 18 sachets of suspected shabu, with an estimated drug value of P530,536, along with buy-bust money, were seized during an anti-illegal drug operation conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of the Meycauayan City Police Station. The operation took place at approximately 1:08 a.m. on Monday (Feb. 10), in Brgy. Bayugo, Meycauayan City, Bulacan, leading to the arrest of four drug suspects.
Similarly, different buy-bust operations were conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of the Provincial Intelligence Unit, Hagonoy, Norzagaray, and Malolos City Police Station, 8 drug suspects were arrested.
Confiscated during the operation were a total of 11 heat sealed plastic sachets of suspected shabu and two plastic sachets of dried marijuana leaves with a standard drug price (SDP) of P62,156 and buy-bust money.
The arrested suspects and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for appropriate examination. While criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspect are now being prepared for filing in court.
Additionally, a series of intensified manhunt operations conducted by tracker teams from Norzagaray, San Jose Del Monte, Bustos, and San Ildefonso resulted in the arrest of four wanted individuals by virtue of Warrants of Arrest.
The arrested accused are presently under the custody of the arresting unit/station for proper disposition. (UnliNews Online)
