Bulacan’s ‘Bloodline Art Exhibit’ brings generational stories to life

CITY OF MALOLOS — The Provincial History, Arts, Culture, and Tourism Office proudly presented ‘Bloodline: The Art of Family Bonds’, an art exhibition that delves into the profound connections of family through artistic expression, at the Guillermo Tolentino Exhibit Hall, Hiyas ng Bulacan Cultural Center, Provincial Capitol Compound in this city recently.

Featuring the collection of 42 blood-related Bulakenyo artists, the art exhibition explores deep family connections through various forms of art, such as traditional paintings, sculptures, and contemporary mixed media. It showcases different expressions of togetherness, love, and heritage—bringing to life the emotions and memories that bind generations while demonstrating how culture, values, and identity are passed down over time.

Governor Daniel R. Fernando emphasized that Bulacan is not only the cradle of renowned heroes, but a home to talented Bulakenyo artists as well.

“Palaging nakasuporta ang Provncial Government of Bulacan sa kanila. Lagi tayong nakaantabay at nakahanda sa pagbibigay ng tulong sa kanila upang lalo pang mapagtibay at mas mabigyan sila ng mataas na pagkilala dahil sa totoo ay kayamanan sila ng lalawigan na dapat maipagmalaki at mapagtuunan pa ng pansin,” the governor said.

‘Bloodline: The Art of Family Bonds’ is an opportunity for local artists to showcase local art and traditions while providing exposure to local artists, ensuring that their creative works will be seen and appreciated by the public eye.

It will also serve as an educational opportunity for students, art lovers, and other attendees to expand their perspective on culture, history, and contemporary artistic expressions.

The art exhibition is open to the public until March 7, 2025. (UnliNews Online)
