CABANATUAN CITY, Nueva Ecija — An entrapment operation launched by agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Nueva Ecija Provincial Office resulted in the dismantling of a makeshift drug and confiscation of some P136,000 worth of shabu in Barangay Bakod Bayan Sunday morning (March 9).
The PDEA Nueva Ecija chief identified the arrested suspects as alias Mar, male, 52 years old; alias Raf, male, 45; and alias Joe, male, 62, all residents of the aforementioned barangay.
A total of nine plastic transparent sachets containing roughly 20 grams of shabu valued at P136,000.00, assorted drug parahernalia, and the buy-buy money were recovered during the operation.
The sting operation was also participated by PDEA RO3 Special Enforcement Team (RSET) and PNP SAC 21st Company 2nd Special Action Battalion.
Apprehended suspects will be detained in PDEA RO3 jail facilty in Pampanga, while charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being readied for filing in court. (UnliNews Online)
