SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) – Pampanga 3rd District Engineering Office (DEO), in collaboration with local government officials, conducted inspections of newly constructed projects in Magalang and Angeles City recently.
OIC-District Engineer Arnold Ocampo and OIC-Assistant District Engineer Agustin Dagsaan Jr. were joined by Magalang Mayor Maria Lourdes Lacson, Angeles City Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr., and Pampanga 1st Legislative Representative Carmelo Lazatin II as they assessed the quality of materials used, adherence to engineering designs, compliance with safety regulations, and overall functionality of the completed projects.
During the joint inspections, other infrastructure components were also examined to ensure that they are built to withstand the intended usage and are safe for public use.
“The purpose of these inspections is to verify the successful completion of the projects and address any issues or concerns that may arise. If any deficiencies or non-compliance are identified during the inspections, appropriate actions will be taken to rectify the problems and ensure that the projects meet the required standards,” Ocampo explained.
These collaborative efforts between the DPWH Pampanga 3rd DEO and local government officials aim to promote transparency, accountability, and quality in infrastructure development.
Ocampo further emphasized that by working together, they can ensure that the newly constructed projects serve their intended purpose and contribute to the improvement of the local community’s infrastructure and overall progress. (UnliNews Online)
