CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — As the waging war on illegal drugs continues, authorities were able to arrest 12 suspected drug peddlers and seized over P3 million worth of shabu in last week’s anti-drug operations.
PRO3 Director Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr. said that several anti-drug operations were launched in Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, and Angeles City which led to the apprehension of the suspects and confiscation of said illegal drugs.
Citing the reports of Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan provincial director, 3 individuals were arrested namely Alexis De Guzman of Sta Maria, Bulacan, and Jason Adores and Elmer Abellana, both from Marilao, Bulacan.
Confiscated from De Guzman were seven pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing a total of 40 grams valued at P272,000 and P1,000 bill-marked money while six pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu with a total estimated weight of 50 grams amounting to P340,000 and one Suzuki motorcycle were seized from Adores and Abellana.
Meanwhile, Col. Richard Caballero, Nueva Ecija provincial director reported that five suspected drug peddlers were arrested identified as Alex Agbanlog, Joevic Santos, Haris Bantigue, Allen Candelaria, and Domilito Ignacio, all residents of Cabanatuan City.
Seized from Agbanlog, Santos, and Bantigue were 5 pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing approximately 16 grams with an estimated value of P108,800.
while confiscated from Candelaria and Ignacio were nine pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing shabu weighing more or less 17.5 grams with an estimated value of P119,000 and a P1,000 bill marked money.
In his report, Col Levi Hope Basilio, Pampanga provincial director stated that two High-Value Targets from Magalang namely Ma. Czarina Leah Joie Razon aka “Dang Dang” and Ariel Bustos alias “Jing” were apprehended.
Seized from Razon were 2 pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets; one knot-tied transparent plastic bag both containing suspected shabu with a total weight of approximately 105 grams with an estimated value of P714,000 and a P1000 bill marked money while confiscated from Bustos was one heat-sealed plastic sachet, 2 knot-tied plastic bags both containing shabu weighing a total of 162 grams with an estimated value of P1,101,600 and P9,000 bill marked money.
Col. Basilio also stated that Bonito Nuevas of Mabalacat City was arrested and four pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 15 grams, valued at approximately P102,000 and P1,000 bill-marked money were seized from his possession.
Meanwhile, Col. Juritz Rara, city director, of ACPO reported the arrest of a high-value individual identified as Abdul Bayan Coyogan confiscated from him were one piece of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet, one knot-tied transparent plastic containing shabu weighing more or less 75 grams with an estimated value of P510,000 and P1000 bill marked money.
