CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan — Three suspected drug peddlers were arrested by authorities and more than P1 million worth of dried marijuana leaves were seized during an anti-illegal drug operation on Saturday (June 10).
On a report from P/Lt. Col. Andrei Anthony S. Manglo, Malolos police chief, anti-illegal drugs operatives of Malolos in coordination with PNP Drug Enforcement Group, and PDEA3 conducted an anti-illegal drug operation at Barangay Sumapang Matanda, City of Malolos.
Authorities according to Manglo arrested Maribeth Legaspi Melendez alias Mariz; Raffy Reyes Magpali Jr. alias Raffy; and Arwin Jae Rosero Meneses alias Aweng.
Seized from the three suspects were ten pieces of self-sealing transparent plastic sachets containing suspected dried marijuana leaves, one disposable hand glove containing suspected dried marijuana leaves, one improvised glass pipe containing suspected dried marijuana leaves weighing approximately 9kgs with an estimated DDB value of P1,080,000 and P1,000 bill as marked money.
“Malolos City police will remain relentless in its campaign against illegal drugs and will keep on conducting anti-illegal drug operations to stop its proliferation,” Manglo said. (UnliNews Online)
