MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region III (PDEA-3) arrested three drug suspects and confiscated some P115,600.00 worth of shabu following a buy-bust operation around 8:33 p.m. in Barangay Dapdap on Saturday (Aug. 19).
PDEA team leader identified the apprehended suspects as Mary Jane Dela Cruz y Buenafe, 49 years old, resident of Brgy. Dapdap, Mabalacat City; Albert Ocampo y Madrid, 37, resident of Brgy. Dapdap, Mabalacat City; and Joshua Torres y De Vera, 24, resident of Brgy. Sta Lucia, Magalang, Pampanga.
The operation yielded four pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets and one opened transparent plastic sachet containing more or less 17 grams of shabu, assorted drug paraphernalia; and the buy-bust money.
Recovered illegal substances will be forwarded to PDEA Laboratory Section for forensic examination.
Apprehended suspects will be facing cases for violation of the anti-drug law (R.A 9165). (UnliNews Online)
