Police nab 2 top fugitives in Calabarzon, Bicol

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Two fugitives listed as “Most Wanted” in the Calabarzon and Bicol regions were apprehended during separate operations in Bulacan on Tuesday (Sept. 26).

Leonardo Santos Jr. y Tibay, who had been identified as the Regional Most Wanted Person of PRO Calabarzon was taken into custody by the Plaridel MPS in collaboration with PRO Calabarzon PSOU.

The operation, involving the execution of a Warrant of Arrest, successfully located Santos in Brgy. Poblacion, Plaridel, Bulacan. The warrant, issued by Hon. Armin Noel B. Villamonte, the Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 155, Biñan City, Laguna, pertained to the crime of Rape, with no recommended bail.

In a simultaneous effort, in Brgy. Sampaloc, San Rafael, Bulacan members of the 2nd PMFC Bulacan, along with other dedicated police units, apprehended Pio Valenzuela y Tropel, also known as “Allan Valenzuela.”

Valenzuela was identified as the third Most Wanted Person in the Bicol Region, facing charges of Murder. The Warrant of Arrest was issued by Hon. Genie G. Gapas-Agbada, the Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 42, Virac, Catanduanes City, with no recommended bail.

PRO3 Director Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr. lauded the relentless efforts of the operating troops in apprehending these wanted individuals. He emphasized that these successful operations underscore PRO3’s unwavering commitment to intensify efforts in combating all forms of criminality, providing assurance to the public of their safety and security.
