CAMP ALEJO S. SANTOS — The diligent efforts of Bulacan police led to the apprehension of 8 individuals in the different anti-criminality operations on Saturday (Sept. 29) and early Sunday morning (Oct. 1).
In reports submitted to Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Provincial Director, Bulacan, Baliwag Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) conducted an anti-illegal drugs operation and arrested two drug dealers in Brgy. San Jose, Baliwag, Bulacan.
Arnedo identified the arrested suspects as John Carlo David and Fe Evangelista, both included in the PNP/PDEA drugs watchlist as street-level individuals.
Recovered from the arrested suspects were a total of 1.65 grams of suspected shabu with a standard price of P11,220.00.
The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for appropriate examination, while criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects are now being prepared for filing in court.
Meanwhile, tracker teams of San Jose Del Monte, Norzagaray, Santa Maria and DRT conducted a series of manhunt operations against wanted persons with court-issued warrants of arrest.
Among the arrested were Ma. Christine Joy Abarratigue for violation of B.P. 22, Julius Angelo Mondragon for Grave Coercion in relation to section 6 of R.A. 10175 and Rowena Napolis for Unjust Vexation.
All the arrested individuals are presently under the custody of the arresting unit or station prior to their turnover to the court of origin upon the issuance of their commitment order.
On the other hand, Baliwag police arrested Rodolfo Katipunan in an anti-illegal gambling operation in Brgy. Poblacion, Baliwag, Bulacan, who was caught in the act illegally collecting bet-money. Criminal complaint for violation of P.D. 1602 or the Anti-Illegal Gambling Act against the suspects are now being prepared against the arrested suspects.

The ability to stop individuals who incite fear and use violence in the community shows how steadfastly committed we are to battling lawlessness and violence for the upcoming Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Election 2023,” Arnedo said.
