CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — After five days, another high-value individual (HVI) involved in illegal drug activities was apprehended in Barangay San Francisco, Magalang, Pampanga on Saturday morning (Oct. 7).
On Monday afternoon (Oct. 2), a 39-year-old man was arrested by authorities during an anti-illegal drug operation in this town and seized a total of approximately 60 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price estimated at P408,000.
The Regional Director of PRO3 Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr. announced that the Magalang Municipal Police Station (MPS) executed a meticulously planned anti-illegal drug (buy-bust) operation.
Hidalgo said the operation resulted in the arrest of the suspect at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Saturday in Barangay San Francisco, Magalang, Pampanga.
Seized from the suspect were crucial pieces of evidence, including approximately 72 grams of suspected shabu, with a standard drug price estimated at P489,600.00.
Additionally, law enforcement officers recovered one piece of P1,000 bill marked money and one black coin purse.
Following the successful arrest and evidence confiscation, the suspect and the seized items were promptly transported to Magalang MPS for proper disposition.
