BALER, Aurora — Aurora District Engineer Roderick Andal of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) announced the completion of a three-storey multipurpose building (MPB) in Barangay 2, Baler, Aurora, which now serves as the new village hall.
Constructed in the same location as the previous community center, this project, funded with P4.95 million from the 2023 national budget, covers a total floor area of 174 square meters.
“Due to the limited available space in Barangay 2 for constructing their new barangay hall, we designed this multi-level facility to provide officials with more office space,” Andal explained.
Andal added that they have equipped the new function hall with features aimed at enhancing the barangay’s delivery of public services.
The facility includes a conference/session hall, two restrooms, three air-conditioning units, a water tank, and a generator set. (UnliNews Online)
