SUBIC, Zambales — Five individuals including a Regional Target drug personality were arrested inside a makeshift drug den resulting in the confiscation of some P345,000.00 worth of shabu following a buy-bust operation on Thursday morning (Nov. 23) in Barangay Calapacuan, Subic.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Zambales Provincial Officer identified the arrested suspects as Nayna Hasmin y Najim, female (PDEA RO 3 Regional Target), 26 years old; Arlene Dayag y Pampuan, 39, female, both residents of Purok 6, Brgy. Calapacuan, Subic, Zambales; Jherryme Urbano y Ayran, 35, resident of Marzan compound, Cuevas St., Zone 1, Iba, Zambales; Moriel Cabasal y Calbo, 46, male, resident of Brgy. Calapacuan, Subic, Zambales; and Vjorn Leif Abad y Hernandez, 27, male, resident of Brgy. Feria, San Felipe, Zambales.
The sting operation yielded five pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing more or less 50 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P345,000.00; assorted drug paraphernalia; and the buy-bust money.
The operation was conducted by the combined elements of the PDEA Zambales Provincial Office, PDEA SIU-SBMA, and Subic Police Station.
Charges for the violation of Republic Act 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the arrested suspects. (UnliNews Online)
