CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — Intensified police operations by the Bulacan PNP resulted in the successful confiscation of suspected shabu worth 258K. These operations, carried out on Tuesday (Nov. 28) and early Wednesday morning (Nov. 29), resulted in the arrest of several drug dealers and lawbreakers.
In reports submitted to Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Provincial Director of Bulacan PPO, a successful drug sting operation by San Miguel PS took place in Barangay Salangan, San Miguel, Bulacan.
Approximately 25 grams of suspected shabu, with a Standard Drug Price (SDP) of about P170,000, along with marked money, were confiscated. The operation led to the prompt arrest of a 21-year-old male suspect from Sta. Ana, Manila, is included in the PNP-PDEA drug watchlist.
Moreover, a series of drug buy-bust operations were conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Pandi, Pulilan, San Miguel, Plaridel, and Angat police..
These operations led to the arrest of 8 more drug suspects and the confiscation of an additional P88,000 worth of suspected shabu and marked money.
All arrested individuals and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination. Criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 have been prepared against the suspects for filing in court.
Furthermore, the tracker teams of Norzagaray, Bocaue, CSJDM, San Miguel, and Sta. Maria PS apprehended seven felons who were wanted for various crimes and offenses, based on warrants issued by the court.
All the arrested accused are presently in the custody of the arresting unit or station for proper disposition.
Arnedo said the resolute dedication of the Bulacan PNP in combating crime and prioritizing public safety in the province is apparent through the heightened police operations, guided by Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr.
