CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — An estimated of P170.060.00 total worth of illegal drugs were seized while eight drug suspects were arrested in anti-criminality operations on Friday (Jan. 5) and Saturday early morning (Jan. 6).
In reports submitted to Col. Relly. Arnedo, Bulacan provincial director, a successful drug sting operation by the San Jose del Monte police station that took place in Brgy. Graceville, CSJDM, Bulacan.
Seven sachets of suspected marijuana and two bricks of suspected dried marijuana with a Standard Drug Price (SDP) of about P90,000.00, along with marked money, were confiscated. The operation led to the prompt arrest of one drug suspect.
Similarly, Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Sta. Maria, Bustos, Malolos, Plaridel, Calumpit, and Pulilan conducted different drug buy-bust operations. A total of 30 sachets of suspected shabu with a Standard Drug Price (SDP) of P80,060.00 and five sachets of suspected marijuana were confiscated, and seven drug suspects were arrested.
The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination, while criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects has been prepared for filing in court.
Arnedo said reflecting the Bulacan PNP’s unwavering commitment in reducing crime and ensuring public safety is guided by Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr., PRO regional director.
