CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS — Twenty-two lawbreakers including 13 drug peddlers were nabbed in the different anti-criminality operations conducted by Bulacan police on Monday (Feb. 19) up to Tuesday (Feb. 20) early morning.
In his statement, Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan provincial director said in Calumpit, a total of 19 sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated weight of 25 grams and an estimated drug price value of P170,000 and buy-bust money were seized in an anti-illegal drug operation conducted by authorities that resulted in the arrest of two illegal drug dealers that transpired in Purok 1, Brgy. Iba Este, Calumpit, Bulacan, at about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday.
In addition, a total of 11 drug personalities were arrested in a series of anti-illegal drugs operations conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of Malolos and Baliwag CPS, San Rafael, Bocaue, and Balagtas MPS.
Confiscated evidence included a total of 33 sachets of suspected shabu, with an estimated weight of 7.6 grams and an estimated drug price value of P51,680 and buy-bust money.
“The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination, while criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects is now being prepared for filing in court,” Arnedo said.
Meanwhile, he added that 4 persons wanted by law were arrested in a series of manhunt operations conducted by the tracker teams of joint operatives of San Jose Del Monte police and RMFB 3, joint operatives of Bulacan 1st PMFC, Bocaue, Hagonoy, and Plaridel operatives.
On the other hand, personnel of Marilao police conducted an illegal gambling operation that resulted in the arrest of 5 illegal gamblers who were caught in the act of playing an illegal card game (pusoy) that transpired in Brgy. Lambakin, Marilao Bulacan, at about 12:45 a.m. Tuesday.
