CABIAO, Nueva Ecija — A male drug peddler included in The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) target-list of drug personalities was nabbed by anti-narcotic operatives and yielded some P170,000 worth of shabu after a buy-bust operation in Barangay Maligaya, Cabiao town on Monday morning (April 22).
PDEA team leader identified the apprehended suspect as Tomasito T. Mangalinao, 54 years old, resident of Barangay San Juan, Cabiao, Nueva Ecija.
Recovered from Mangalinao were four pieces of heat-sealed plastic sachets containing more or less 25 grams of shabu worth P170,000; and the marked money used by the poseur buyer.
Confiscated illegal substances were forwarded to PDEA RO III laboratory for quantitative and qualitative examination.
The operation was jointly conducted by the combined elements of PDEA Bataan and Nueva Ecija Provincial Offices and the local police.
A non-bailable offense for violation of section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs), and section 11 (possession of dangerous drugs) of Republic Act 9165 will be filed against Mangalinao. (UnliNews Online)
