CITY OF SAN JOSE DEL MONTE, Bulacan – Authorities had seized P68,000 worth of shabu from a drug operator and three of his accomplices following a buy-bust operation in Upper Quarry, Barangay Minuyan Proper, here on Saturday (May 25).
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bulacan chief said that the makeshift drug den was being operated by Joseph B. Degala , 42 years old, who was arrested and did not resist arrest from operating teams.
Other three arrested individuals were identified as Raquel Arante y Nuguid, 43 years old, resident of Upper Quarry; Michael Antoni y Flores, 27, and Gildo Gonzales y Alinsunurin, 32 years old, all residents of Upper Quarry, Brgy. Minuyan Proper, CSJDM, Bulacan;
Recovered from the suspects were six pieces of transparent plastic sachets containing more or less 10 grams of shabu worth P68,000; assorted drug paraphernalia; and the marked money used by the poseur buyer.
The operation was conducted by the combined elements of the PDEA Bulacan and the local police.
Apprehended suspects will face charges for the violation of Republic Act 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (UnliNews Online)
