BALANGA CITY, Bataan — A buy-bust operation in this city resulted in the dismantling of a makeshift drug den which led to the arrest of four individuals and seizure of some P102,000.00 worth of shabu in Purok 2, Barangay Munting Batangas on dawn Tuesday (Aug. 13).
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bataan Provincial Office said that the operation was consummated at around 1:19 in the morning.
Arrested suspects were identified as Julius Bañaris Magbanua, male, 41years old; Mary Jane Delumen Magbanua, female, 46: Jey Burgos Valera, male, 36; and Agnes Delumen Abad, Female, 52, all residents of Purok 2, Brgy. Munting Batangas, Balanga City, Bataan.
Approximately 15 grams of shabu worth P102,000.00; assorted drug paraphernalia; and buy-bust money were recovered during the sting operation.
The operation was jointly conducted by operatives of PDEA Bataan Provincial Office, Bataan Seaport Interdiction Unit, and Balanga City Police Station.
Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the arrested suspects. (UnliNews Online)
