SUBIC, Zambales — Government anti-narcotic operatives dismantled a makeshift drug den that led to the arrest of four drug suspects and seizure of shabu in a buy-bust operation at Purok 3, Barangay Manga-vaca, Subic town on Friday dawn (Sept. 13).
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Zambales Provincial Office identified the apprehended suspects as Deinnielle Henry Bascara y Macedo, male, 36 years old, resident of Brgy. Mangan-vaca, Subic, Zambales (Drug Den Maintainer); Leslie Docil y Gatona, male, 42, resident of Purok 2, Ibayo, Mangan-vaca, Subic, Zambales; Darrel Castillo y Layon, male, 29, resident of Brgy. Barretto, Olongapo City; and Rijam Hiwari y Salaman, male, 28, resident of Purok 6B, Brgy.Calapacuan, Subic, Zambales.
Operative recovered approximately 10 grams of shabu worth P68,000.00; assorted drug paraphernalia; and buy-bust money during the sting operation.
The operation was conducted by joint operatives of PDEA Zambales and Subic Police Station.
Arrested suspects will be detained temporarily at PDEA RO III Jail Facility, while the confiscated illegal substances will be submitted to the PDEA laboratory for forensic examination.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the arrested suspects. (UnliNews Online)
