DPWH turns over new 2-storey building in Brgy. Tumana, Santa Maria

SANTA MARIA, Bulacan — A recently completed multipurpose building project by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) – Bulacan 2nd District Engineering Office (DEO) is now ready to serve as a new hub for various events and functions in Barangay Tumana, Santa Maria.

District Engineer George Santos stated that the new two-storey, 109.47-square-meter facility offers ample space to support barangay officials in enhancing the delivery of social services to their constituents.

“This project includes amenities such as a multipurpose hall, a pantry, and dedicated restrooms for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) on the ground floor, as well as an additional function hall and separate male and female restrooms on the second floor, ensuring accessibility and convenience for all community members,” Santos said.

Funded under the 2023 national budget, the PHP 9.78 million project underscores the DEO’s commitment to providing a community space that supports the well-being and development of local residents. (UnliNews Online)
