SUBIC, Zambales — A drug den operator and four other drug suspects were nabbed inside a makeshift drug den following a buy-bust operation at around 11:35 p.m., in Barangay Matain on Sunday (Sept. 29).
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Zambales Provincial Office identified the apprehended suspects as Jimbo Baguio, 29 years old, (drug maintaner); Dammyboy Balasabas, 38; Mc Junnel Runes, 35, Vien Decena, 31; Mark Anthony Otom, 30, all residents of , Brgy. Matain, Subic, Zambales.
Approximately 20 grams of shabu worth P136,000; assorted drug paraphernalia; two units cellular phone; and the buy-bust money were recovered during the operation.
Seized illegal substances will be forwarded to PDEA RO III laboratory for forensic test.
The operation was conducted by joint operatives of PDEA Zambales Provincial Office, Subic Police Station, and Naval Intelligence and Security Group Northern Luzon.
Arrested suspects will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (UnliNews Online)
